Team 54 Project International Eco-Hero Awards 2022 Winners
The Team 54 Project International Eco-Hero Awards is one of the many ways the organization continues to inspire climate action among its thousands of members across 100 nations and collaborative partners scattered worldwide. Started in 2020, it has become an annual highlight ceremony within the activities of the organization.
Its goal is to appreciate and simultaneously reward members who have helped the organization achieve its climate goals of taking action to solve the environmental sustainability challenge affecting vulnerable population in developing nations.
This year’s Team 54 Project International Eco-Hero Awards ceremony held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York at the Conference Room 12 on the 28th of October 2022 by 2.30PM, under the watch of Her Excellency Cecilia McGill, the Consulate General and Head of Liberian mission in the USA, diplomats within the African Union and delegates.
The event was well attended by delegates from across the global and was part of a bigger program coordinated by Manevia Forum that was targeted at Africans diaspora to encourage them to work together to address the growing challenges in the continent.
The overarching declaration form the summit is to work hard to moving beyond talking, to taking action towards establishing Sustainable development.
The event was a collaborative effort involving the Liberian Government, Manevia Forum the main Co-hosting group and other Not- for-Profit organization like Hallmark International, TAGRID Plus, Four Directions based in Washington DC, Team54Project International, other organizations that participated are the Boys Champions and the United Nations Department of global communications Civil society Unit.
In the opening speech at the United Nations Headquarters the CEO and founder Dr. Gbujie reiterated the relevance of giving this award; “We are proud to honor the work of these 2 outstanding individual Mr. Jefter Sena Kweku Agbo from Ghana and Dr. Keerthi Shruthi from India for their environmental projects and actions has helped foster respect and affection for nature in the community they come from and through personal action we are able to reach our local, national and global targets in the area of climate advocacy and solutions”.

Furthermore, this year’s award for the first time has with it a dollar cash donation made possible by our global partnership compact and the two winners will get special certificates of achievement, public recognition on our website and in all our 56 satellite social media platforms.
The award ceremony ended with the organization giving over 3 dozen other awards to persons and organizations that have supported the organization over the years.
